Bodyzmind knows mindfulness skills are key to healthy living. We use expert instructors to introduce students to yoga, t'ai chi, meditation and self defense. Group discussions on relevant topics, such as nutrition and body awareness, round out our program.
Our goal is to build sound minds and bodies that will serve youth well as they navigate adolescence and prepare to become successful, independent adults.
We offer classes to girls as part of after school enrichment programs at middle schools and high schools, as well as organize sessions on request. Middle school enrichment classes are designed for 6th-8th grade girls, and high school classes are targeted to 9th-10th grades.
